Take a forest trail ride when you want to spend time out of the arena. For a gentler outing, choose Going on a Walk. The developer specifically describes nursing mares being able to bring their foals along on these walks.
Choose the Outing for Your Horse
Use a trail ride when you want to ride through the forest. If you want to take a nursing mare out with her foal, choose the walk described in the developer update.
Check the Horse Before Leaving
Look at the horse’s condition and plan your outing around the care and training it still needs. Clean and groom the horse if necessary.
Return to the Yard and Recheck Care
Give the horse a quick once-over after returning. The demo patch notes introduced hooves getting dirty after a trail ride, so checking the feet is a sensible habit.
See the official Horses of Hoofprint Bay Steam page for game information.
